ANNEXURE-IX AGREEMENT BOND FORM FOR CANDIDATES ADMITTED FORM.B.B.S./B.D.S.COURSEFORTHEACADEMICYEAR2025– 2026 Thisagreementmadeonthis dayof 2025betweentheGovernorofTamilNadu (hereinafter called the Governor which expression shall, where the context so admitsinclude his successorin Office) oftheonepartand son/daughterof Residentof inthe Talukofdistrict(hereinaftercalledthecandidate)whichexpressionshall,wherethecontextsoadmitsincludehi s/her heirs,executors,administratorsandrepresentativesoftheotherpart. WHEREAS the candidate has, on his/her application been selected to undergo training for theM.B.B.S/B.D.SCourseintheGovernment/Self Financing Medical/DentalCollege(hereinafterreferredtoas thesaidCollege). ANDWHEREASthecandidate hasagreedtocomplete his/hertrainingforthesaidcourse, atthesaidCollege, subjecttotheconditionhereinafterappearing. NowTHEREFORE,thisagreementwitnesses and itisherebyagreedasfollows: (1) The candidate shall diligently complete his/her training for the said course at the saidCollege, shall abide by the rules of the said College for the time being in force regulatingtheconductofstudentsatthesaidCollegeandshallpassalltheexaminationsprescribedforthes aidCourse bytheUniversityortheMedicalInstitution concerned. (2) Upon passing the final M.B.B.S./ B.D.S Examination the candidate shall serve as ‘Intern’for the prescribed period as laid down by the Medical Council Act, 1956 (Central Act 102of1956)andDental Council Act. (3) (i) The candidate shall, on demand made by the Government within two years from thedate onwhichhe/she registers himself/herself as a Medical Practitioner, serve for aperiod of not less than five years and in such rural areas as the Government may byGeneralor Special orders specify. (ii) Those candidates who fail to comply with clause 3 (i) shall have to pay a sum ofRs.5,00,000/- (RupeesFiveLakhsonly)orastheGovernmentmaydirectaspenaltyforhavingbreachedthecontractint hebond.
