Data Sources
Every data point on MahaAdmission Medical is sourced from official government authorities. Here's a complete list of our sources.
Verification Status Indicators
Each source is assigned a verification status that reflects how we interact with it:
Actively monitored with automated scrapers. New documents are detected and processed within hours of publication. Data from these sources undergoes our full six-stage verification pipeline.
Monitored periodically with manual checks. Data from these sources is processed as it becomes available and may take longer to appear on the portal. Full verification still applies.

Document Integrity & Checksums
To ensure the integrity of source documents, we employ the following measures:
SHA-256 Checksums
Every source document is archived with a SHA-256 hash computed at the time of download. This allows us to detect if a document has been modified after archival — whether intentionally (official corrigendum) or accidentally (file corruption).
Timestamped Archives
Each archived document includes the exact UTC timestamp of download, the source URL, and HTTP response headers. This creates an audit trail that can be referenced during disputes or when source websites modify published documents.
Version Tracking
When an official authority publishes a revised version of a document (e.g., a corrected seat matrix), we archive both the original and revised versions. Our portal reflects the latest verified version, with a note indicating the revision.
Sources We Do NOT Use
To maintain data integrity, we explicitly exclude the following source types:
- ✕Unofficial mirror websites or third-party data aggregators
- ✕Social media posts, tweets, or WhatsApp forwards
- ✕Coaching centre circulars or internal college communications
- ✕News articles that do not embed the original government document
- ✕Anonymously sourced or "leaked" documents
- ✕Data inferred, extrapolated, or estimated from partial information
