The separate MCC Freeze and Float windows closed at 1 PM on 2 September 2026. Keep the official notices below as a reference for the required withdrawal-slip process.

Freeze: physical resignation at the allotted institute from 2 PM on 31 August to 1 PM on 2 September; the institute nodal officer generates the online slip. Notice No. 16

Important Rules

  • •Free Exit: Available only in Round 1. No penalty for not joining.
  • •Freeze / Float: Freeze candidates join physically at the allotted institute; Float candidates willing to upgrade upload documents for online institute verification and do not physically report for verification.
  • •Security Deposit: Forfeited if seat left after Round 2 allotment.
  • •Document verification: Both Freeze and Float candidates must upload clear documents within the reporting schedule; discrepancies can lead to a query or seat cancellation.
  • •Round 1 withdrawal: Notice 16 sets the Freeze physical-resignation window at 2 PM on August 31 to 1 PM on September 2; Notice 17 sets the Float online window at 3:30 PM on August 31 to 1 PM on September 2. Both notices require the applicable online withdrawal slip and state no security-deposit forfeiture within the stipulated window.
  • •Float document corrections: Notice 15 dated August 29 required corrected documents to be re-uploaded by 11:59 PM on August 31; if the correction was not submitted, the allotted seat could be cancelled.
  • •Fees and bonds: MCC says college-provided fee, stipend, bond, and service conditions must be confirmed directly with the college before choices are locked.
