BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) is a 5-year undergraduate dental degree regulated by the Dental Council of India (DCI). The programme includes clinical training in dental procedures like prosthetics, orthodontics, oral surgery, and periodontics, followed by a mandatory 1-year rotatory internship. BDS graduates are eligible to practice as registered dentists.
